There's a difference between my muse and my focus. My muse conjures up ideas and plans and characters, etc. My focus is the ability to sit down and get these ideas out of me and onto paper or a computer screen (without getting distracted by the shiny Internet or anything else).
My muse is well and truly in place and co-operating, but I've lost my focus again. After 5 months of horrific block, I managed to get a lot written in the space of a week, but now my focus has slipped away and it's been a week. The muse behaves most of the time (if you can call behaving having tons of things I need to write). My focus, or inability to focus, is the major problem I have.
