*Spinning around like a little kid*

So, I'm home this weekend to work, which technically sucks. Except it doesn't really since I kind of like work. I fight - jokingly - with my coworkers, chat with customers... It has its shitty moments but overall it's not bad. And also I have a job, in this economy this is good.
Being home also means being with my mother and grandmother. Which can be tense when we don't get along, but when we do... Like today, with Mom-Mom and Mom squabbling over "ice cream addiction" and screwing up the channel for the Phillies pre-game. This type of fighting is usually fun, Mom-Mom half-laughing and Mom rolling her eyes. Seriously, the way they are sometimes, I could film them, put it on YouTube, and be a hit. And then they would kill me. So no.
But. This is not why I am spinning. Oh no. i am spinning because of my Phillies. Yesterday, they came up from a 4-2 losing spot in the bottom of the ninth and won 5-4. Today, as of this post, they are winning 8-4. Oh, and Cliff Lee. He is pitching tonight. And how can I not love Cliff Lee, he turned down a serious bonus from the Yankees (Evil Empire) to come back to Philly, and he says he loves it here. Oh, and his eyes are gorgeous, though that's not relevant to his playing. :D Still...
Also I have this, mini-outtake from my OT3 series in which Arthur is a Philly native.
Ariadne and Eames tend to use the television a lot more than Arthur does. He's more of a bookworm in his way than even Ariadne, who runs with the best of them at times. But she likes to have the TV on while she draws. It's mostly white noise, the soap operas she used to watch curled up with her mother when she was sick or evening dramas. Sometimes they're good enough that she'll take a break from drawing and just watch. Eames likes comedy and, a little surprisingly, crime shows. He really likes critiquing them, and she'd really rather not know how he can correct the characters on whatever CSI he happens to be watching, or how it is Arthur can occasionally agree absently.
But usually Arthur doesn't turn on the television, even when he ends up watching it with one or both of them. At least not until baseball season.
They know what it means when they come back from the grocery store to hear Arthur screaming at the television, cheering at the top of his lungs. The Phillies are playing again.
"I take it the game went well?" Eames says, mouth twitching.
"They were down by two, and in the bottom of the fucking ninth, Mayberry's hit clinched it!" Arthur is really kind of adorable when he's excited like this, hair down, eyes bright and cheeks flushed, especially as he keeps going on. "And tomorrow, Cliff Lee's pitching, first time since we got him back, and Citizens Bank Park is going to go fucking wild."
He keeps rambling about the team, names like Howard, Polanco, Francisco flying over Eames and Ariadne's heads, but he's so damn cute that they don't even care. Eventually they shut him up, but since that involves mouths and hands and other things, he doesn't get mad at them for it.
