Characters/Pairings: England, Ireland, some Wales; possibly onesided USUK, probably not onesided Scotland/Ireland. There's also implied Wales/Austria/Hungary (blame it on the RP I'm doing) and a blink-and-miss-it Prussia/Canada reference.
Summary: Ireland won't make a phone call to Washington D.C. if England doesn't call Edinburgh. This arrangement might not make them happy, but it keeps them safe, and safe is better than getting your heart broken. Again.

hc_bingo card, though my version of blackmail seems to be more responsible for comfort than hurt. Weird. Title taken from Xandria's "Like A Rose On The Grave Of Love", which seemed fitting.

A/N: Yeah, so, I ship PruCan kind of hard, and I do have a habit of tossing my ships into stories, even as sidenotes. Some part of me is nudging to make them a triad with North, but I'm not sure whether I really want to do that, or have North find love of his own at all whilst helping his family. What do you guys think?
