Yet another meme, this one nicked from [livejournal.com profile] rodlox .

Give me the title of a story I've never written, and feedback telling me what you liked best about it, and I will tell you any of: the first sentence, the last sentence, the thing that made me want to write it, the biggest problem I had while writing it, why it almost never got posted, the scene that hit the cutting room floor but that I wish I'd been able to salvage, or something else that I want readers to know.

Fandoms: Tudors, Inception, Stargate 'verse, Whoniverse, NCIS, Primeval

Pairings: Any you've seen me write or talk about. :)

This could be interesting...

I loved the A/E fic, Life In Technicolor!

Arthur as the head writer for the tv series was perfect (there were some definite parallels between 30 Rock's Liz Lemon, haha) and Eames as the lead actor was hilarious :D

And you know, that was totally unintentional, since I've never actually watched 30 Rock.

What did it, really, was this Torchwood/Doctor Who fic where the shows were American-based, and we got both some of the changed reality of the shows and the 'other' reality of the production. I loved the concept, and thought, hey, I have to do this!

Dude, I loved your crossover Quantum Mechanalia. I think Eames and Jack Harkness were just made to flirt with each other, with Arthur and Ianto trading fashion tips and witty barbs in the background. That thing with Cobb and the tentacles, though, was... yeah. Gruesome.
And seriously, I never would have predicted that Ariadne was actually River Song's long lost daughter. I'm hoping for some mother-daughter bonding time in the form of target practice in the sequel.

There's one terribly unfortunate thing about that fic. Remember how Arthur and Ianto did the most subtle of double takes? Well, you see, they have their own little history - forget Eames/Jack flirting, this was serious, kinda - but they didn't want their boys to be jealous, so they didn't bring it up. I actually had a scene where they talked about it, but I couldn't fit it anywhere.

As for Ari being River's daughter, that one took me by surprise too.

i really liked your A/E fic Hopping Puddles and how adorable Arthur and Eames turned out to be in old age (:

Oh my God, that was such a hard piece to write! Who knew writing old age was as hard as writing little kids? But once I got going it was a lot of fun.

I can't get Burning Bright out of my thoughts...

Inception/Primeval is all too rare - but even if there were millions of them, Burning Bright would still be in the Top Five.

I enjoyed parts like Cobb and Lester arguing over whether or not who should go into Helen's mind.

I definately enjoyed how well Eames and Stephen and Sarah got along.

But what I admired most, was how it wasn't always clear what bits of darkness were from Helen's mind, and which parts Ariadne constructed....but that's also what scared me the most.

You know, I considered giving Nick a shade!Claudia, it seemed like something that would be fitting, but then I decided, no, I can't do that, the poor guy has been through enough.

I still don't know how much of the darkness came from Ari and how much was Helen's.
